Cripps Pottery

Cripps Pottery began in 2017 when I enrolled in the Fine Craft: Ceramics program at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD). Now it is the name of my business and creative practice. We do a lot. Cripps Pottery can be easily understood as two practices, one that is creating ceramic artwork and sculpture and the other is making functional pottery, but texture and tactility are always a defining factor in my work. Whether it is texture from my signature crawling glazes or a rough surface highlighted with organic elements. My work is meant to be held.

I love to travel and explore nature. Together with my wife Marlee we make pots and do fun stuff.
